I'm happy to be in the terminally deluded and hopelessly naive camp of knuckleheads. Boy, that er, "increased" funding for schools sure came with strings attached didn't it? More like a hangman's rope.
Marion has asked exactly the right questions in his excellent letter. Here's to hoping it gets circulated all over the country. Let's do it.

Everything Marion says about NCLB is absolute, total, and complete nonsense. Only the hoplelessly naive or the terminally deluded could find "catastrophic consequences" in increasing funding for schools and requiring states to improve them.
