If this doesn't define loony paranoia, I don't know what does. Somehow this
fantastic conspiracy has eluded the nation's media, the Democrats, and
critics of the Bush administration. ESEA, of which NCLB is the latest incarnation,
has been in effect since 1965. NCLB passed Congress with overwhelming
support from both Houses. George Miller and Ted Kennedy were strong supporters.
The NAACP argued recently in federal court in the Connecticut case that
states should enforce the letter and spirit of NCLB. Do you really believe that
George Miller, Ted Kennedy, and the NAACP are part of this conspiracy or that
they are so easily fooled?

accountability regimes to restore public schools to their traditional
function of social reproduction of the class system, or
"militarizing" low income schools, via hard core behaviorism, so that
working class kids are disciplined from an early age into accepting
their roles as low wage labor and military drones. The BRT's
successes in using corporate funding and influence networks to
implement local and state level high stakes systems culminated in
their master plan of enacting a national law, NCLB.
