I have my filter set up to automatically delete the posts from those that I have no interest in reading their ideas. The only time that I ever see those posts is when others reply. I seldom post on this list, primarily I lurk and learn from all those people on here that know much more than myself, and pass on ideas and information I glean to other teachers. Although it isn't often, sometimes what is included in a reply to those that some disagree with is useful information, and that information may be new to some of us.

Based on those thoughts, I would have to disagree with outright banishment based on the arguments put forward. At the cost of being repetitive, I'll repeat, I just set my filter.

Purposefully excluding someone seems undemocratic.
