"Real learning" and "test prep" are not necessarily exclusive, no matter how
much this list asserts that they are and despite FairTest propaganda that
tests under NCLB can not be "authentic assessment." Test prep contributes to
real learning when it helps kids learn important things and develop important
skills. Real learning can take place in the testing environment we have now.
We simply need more people in the schools who can make this happen. Bring
Joe Bo back to show people how to do it.
