Yes, this is clearer to me. I had thought you might be trying to make a
comment about the general "feel" of the list or something, but now that I
know you just included my post in the quoted material because you didn't
know about editing it down, I understand.

Normally if someone uses your name in the subject line like I did, you
wouldn't change it again to put that person's name in. You just hit reply
and leave the subject line as is - this way the "thread" stays together in
the archives (if you look in the archives this might be clearer) and people
can later follow all the messages that were posted with that subject line.
But you don't usually have to worry about this because people don't usually
use subject lines with people's names in them. Just try to capture the
essence of whatever topic you're talking about in the subject line so anyone
not interested can delete it without reading it (easier said than done
sometimes).

I don't feel now like commenting on the substance of your original post, but
maybe in the future you'll post something else I'll have something to say
about.
