I think that is a crucial point: teachers need to find ways to start talking
with parents about this. The post notes principals are unhappy -- they too
need to start talking with parents. It need not be defined as a "bash the
tests" meeting but perhaps as a meeting to to discuss assessment, find out
what parents think and want, start a dialog on what is desired, etc.
