I also would like response to this. In addition, we wondered if there have
been research pieces about the harm done through testing, especially to
students of color. JOur district is directing our fourth grade students
to take both the Washington Assessment on Student Learning and the ITBS
(Its B.S.), the latter to establish a so-called baseline for future
testing decisions. It's abusive, but they won't listen to common sense.
Is there statistical or research based e3vidence that we can use to stop
the madness?
