ARN participants: It has come to FairTest's attention through sources we believe are entirely dependable that the Wisconsin governor has been able to restore funding for the statewide test in WI. Parents successfully convinced their legislators to defund this test - but the Governor is trying to restore it quietly. Now is the time to stir things up again in Wisconsin. If you live in WI, know someone who lives in WI, participate in networks that have members in WI, participate on other listserves where there are people in WI - please alert them to speak up and call their legislators about this - telling them not to back off of stopping the high stakes test.
