Juanita, Art et. al., If I am not mistaken, the correlation in NY state for 4th grade ELA is exactly the same (.79 in 1999 and .81 in 2000). Current scores are just arriving for 2001. Can't wait for the new correlation, however, some internal SED documents are leaning toward 'inventive test score scaling'. More on this when the "embargo" is lifted.
