Save your spit and throw-up for someone more worthy.

I'm sure all America is puzzling over the question of who is worthy of "spit
and throw-up." Be that as it may, "spit and throw-up" is a good
characterization of the loony paranoia and howling hysteria continually promulgated on
this list - NCLB is a plot by the Business Roundtable to advance the private
schools attended by the children of its members; NCLB is genocide against poor
and minority children; George Bush hand-picked the members of the NRP and
managed its report before he was elected - and the occasional nuttiness of
claiming that copyright infringers are coequal with Martin Luther King, or that
the students, parents, and teachers of Oakland should take over the city's
corporations and run them for the benefit of the schools, or that teachers and
schools are doing everything right for poor and minority children and problems
lie elsewhere. By serving as a venue for this foolishness, this list has
done parents and children and the schools a great disservice.
