The House Education comittee is holding a hearing on ESEA/NCLB, including the committee discussion draft, this coming Monday, Sept 10, starting at 10:00. There will be many panels of witnesses and it is likely to go on for some time.
The list of witnesses has not been posted yet, but I know a number of groups and individuals part of or associated with the Forum on Educational Accountability will testify. I do believe there will be some strong - and accurate - criticism of the law and the discussion draft.
The witness list will be on the committee website when it is posted:
http://edlabor.house.gov; and on that same website, there is a live webcast button if you want to listen in to any of the hearing.
