Re: an article showing impact of NCLB




What this really shows is what parents and kids are up against:? The attitude that it's just so unfair to schools that kids have to pass the tests those nasty feds make us give..

This is especially relevant to those in more rural areas. And it also shows how
the way the law is structured does not really address the more important needs.
And, of course, there are the administrative and record keeping requirements
which can be critical, as shown by the one school, even if that requires
resources to be shifted away from teaching.
