Re: Please join in the action! Respond to the Bee on the CAHSEE.

Uh, huh. If he really were paying attention to a Zen master, he would not have said that John McCain was a "second rate" prisoner of war for breaking under torture in a North Vietnamese prison. Not cool. Not Zen. Tthough perhaps you found that insightful and delightful.

Insightful and delightful as usual, Quan.

They see the light, my friend, but the light they are walking towards is

the oncoming train. You cannot save Art when Art will not allow you to

save

him. As my Zen master would say, don't hate him. Just don't attach

yourself to him for the rest of eternity. I know you are altruistic, but

there

are plenty of others who deserve your attention a lot more.

Let me put it in a more lighthearted way: there was once two friends in

the woods. they saw a bear, and both started running. One suddenly

stopped

to tie up her shoelaces. She thought she didn;t have to run faster than

the bear, only faster than her friend.

The moral of the story is when your "friend" refuses to run, don't stop,

Billee. You may have to go back and identify the body later.

peace,

Quan
