Friday, April 28th, 7-10 pm at the InterTribal Frienship House of Oakland (5200 International Blvd.). The Native American Cultural Center will hosting "De-Colonizing Borders: TODOS SOMOS INDIOS, TODOS SOMOS IMMIGRANTES" This event is a benefit for the InterTribal Frienship House of Oakland. Hosted by Somos One of the Brown Buffalo Project. Performers include, Kim Shuck, Blue Buddha, Joe Navarro, Gabriel Duncan, Entre Musicos and more to be announced. This is an all ages show. There will be an open mic. Cover charge is $10, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. The InterTribal Friendship House of Oakland ("IFH") is a Native American cultural center for indigenous residents of all nations for the Bay area. The center provides after school programs, clothing donation programs, traditional Native American dance lessons, traditional bead work classes, substance abuse meetings, and houses an extensive oral history and photographic history of Native Americans in the Bay area.
