Dear Susan,
Thank you for your participation in the Friday, July 20th event in Oakland,
“From No Child Left Behind to Every Child a Graduate: Connecting Local
Priorities to National Opportunities,” sponsored by the Alliance for
Excellent Education, the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights Education
Fund, the San Francisco Education Fund and the School Redesign Network at
Stanford University.
We wanted to let you know that audio and video from the event can be viewed
at
http://www.all4ed.org/events/NCLBtoECAG/agenda.html0000,0000,0000 . We are in
the process of securing electronic copies of the speakers’ presentations and
will post those on the website as soon as possible. Given several requests
for copies of the “Missing in the Middle” chart displayed at the event
(depicting the level of federal investment in early, middle, high school and
postsecondary education), a copy of that chart can be accessed here0000,0000,0000
.
On behalf of all of the event partners, we again want to thank you for taking
time out of your busy schedule to participate in this event. The Bay Area is
fortunate to have so many experienced, committed education reformers and
dedicated community advocates. We hope that you will remain engaged on the
issue of the federal government playing a more effective federal role in
supporting local high school reform efforts and that our respective
organizations will continue to serve as a resource and/or partner in your
work. We look forward to staying in touch.
Sincerely,
0000,0000,0000
