At last years NCTE meeting Dick Allington gave a spectacular review of the inanity of the Bush reading policy. It took NCTE a year to send the tape to Dick (why?). But it is finally available in DVD format for $25 each. I cant recommend it strongly enough. My address is 4114 39th Avenue, Oakland, CA, 94619.
