Great idea! Lets sell them all!

Cheating concerns arise as IQ tests used for student placement are sold on
eBay.
The AP (12/19, Roberts) reports, "Intelligence tests widely used to help
determine the competence of criminal defendants and the placement of students
are for sale on eBay Inc.'s online auction site, and the test maker is
worried they will be misused." The Weschler intelligence tests are used "more
than a million times a year nationwide," according to publisher Harcourt
Assessment, Inc. Many schools use the tests to determine whether to place
students into certain programs, "whether for gifted or struggling students."
The tests "are supposed to be sold to and administered by only clinical
psychologists and trained professionals," but a recent analysis found the
tests easily available for purchase through the popular auction site, often
for a fraction of the publisher's price. "Harcourt officials say they fear
the tests for sale on eBay will be misused for coaching" by parents aiming to
qualify their child for certain programs. eBay, which prohibits the sale of
teachers' editions of textbooks "as a matter of public good," said that
"there is nothing illegal about selling the tests, and it cannot monitor
every possible misuse of items sold through its network."
