Education budget cuts.  Sounds like California.  It's the New World Order!

> On Thursday Jan. 31, 2008 NYC public school principals opened their
> email inboxes to find that 1.75% of their budget had been cut for the
> remainder of the fiscal year, effective immediately.

> That may not sound like a lot, but depending on the school, the cuts
> ranged form from  $9,000 to $447,587 and total $180 million city wide.

> Not only that, but the situation will get worse if we don't resist.
> If  Bloomberg's  current budget proposal for 2009 is passed by the
> City Council the school system will loose a total of $324 million
> compared to the current operating budget
