We got this at work. Personal visits to your representative's local office get the most attention, then letters, then phone calls, then email, is what we were told. The DO keep a tally of what they receive from people.

Some folks at my church would like to do something (petitions, postcards, letters, flyers, etc) about this, particularly on/around the first weekend in May, and would rather not re-invent the wheel -- would prefer to connect with a larger campaign.
