Trisha, I agree with Marji. No note needed unless you want more information. It is nice to know that you do have a supportive principal which means you are not alone. What is your principal suggesting? Do you have a district Language Arts person that you can go to for discussion of alternative approaches? Let us know what happens periodically and feel free to turn to the entire list or any individuals for any help we can give you.
