Re: need information

I really am not a proponent of prepackage, canned programs, but and unfortunately in this data driven NCLB world that is what the admin can concretely wrap their heads around.
I believe we need to continue with the SSR and move to the next step of sharing, discussion, focused questions etc...
I have articles and some research by Krashen and others, but people have to be willing to work a little instead of having technology do it all.
Back to my original question: Does anyone have any response to Janet Allen's book http://www.janetallen.org/content/view/14/3/ ?
I read the blurb and our asst principal mentioned it, but she has not read it. Thoughts?

What is important is to keep learning, to enjoy challenge, and to tolerate ambiguity. In the end there are no certain answers.
