Hi all!
I will be teaching a new enrichment course entitled "Personal History and Heritage," beginning at the end of this month. I'll meet with the students every other day through the end of the school year. Our focus will be on researching personal family history and heritage, and we'll also spend some time reading and discussing literature which addresses the immigrant and first-generation American experience. We will have internet access occasionally but not every day. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with genealogy research. If so, is there a free or inexpensive resource you might recommend? Also, any project ideas or literature recommendations would be most welcome!
TIA for any responses!
Cathy :-)
