I type phrases like that right into Google with decent results.

Does anyone know of a free plagiarism site that will trace essays? Most of the ones I found through a search are now paid services.

I'm in the middle of grading book reviews and had to chuckle when I read a student's review of Tom Sawyer. He wrote, "Injun Joe blames his companion Muff Potter, a hapless drunk, for the crime." "Hapless drunk"??? The phrase "who stirs Tom's lively romantic sensibilities" was another tipoff. Why do all 13-year-olds seem to think they can outsmart the adults in their lives??? *lol*

TIA if anyone knows of a freebie resource for this!
Cathy :-)
