Thanks for the link.

My first reaction is: will someone please tell the writer that movie titles
need to be italicized??? (Sorry--can't help it.)

I didn't see the film, but I can appreciate some of the points brought up.
I agree that teachers get unfairly blasted (at least in my state), and it
doesn't help that the media are trotting out on a weekly basis, it seems, some
new example of a teacher-done-wrong. I've always said there should be a
reality show which follows an elem, middle, and HS teacher, so the public could
*really* get a glimpse of our day-to-day realities rather than cling to the
misconception that we are living some kind of life of luxury with summers off
and the workday ending at three.
