Ellen,
We are given D/F distribution lists but have never been given instructions
that we are to "analyze" it. Maybe your principal just wants everyone to be
more reflective. OR -- this might sound crazy -- but this could also be a
situation where the admin is having trouble with one or two teachers, but they
make a blanket request of all teachers so as not to directly confront those
individuals. Like I said, that might seem odd, but I have seen it happen a
number of times in the two districts I've taught in. The admin won't call the
person on the carpet about an issue, so they make everybody hear the message.
Could that be it? Just a thought.
