I honestly can't imagine that laptops would provide significant increases in reading or math test scores, anyway. Perhaps I'm not up on their latest classroom uses, but it seems to me that the only place they would be beneficial would be in a writing class - they would definitely improve writing skills if only from the standpoint of making it much easier to write and publish and thus increasing the amount of this students would do. Feel free to contradict me, as I said, I'm not up on the latest uses for reading and math.

I don't think that one year of results is long enough for a study to be scientifcally valid.
