Another author is Janet Angelillo. She has a book called Writing to the Prompt. I just purchased it and it looks really good. We had her at our Writing Project as a guest speaker, very good. Her books are at Heinemann at www.heinemann.com. Another place that has great writing type books is Stenhouse.com. Barry Lane's stuff is at discovery..... something. We had him as a speaker at our local conference just over a year ago. It was one of the bvest presentaitons I have ever attended. Much of what he spoke is contained in the kit. It comes with a Teacher's Guide as well as reproducible overheads. I have used it successfully with my teachers and once or twice with classes.
