Re: poems for March Madness Poetry
Susan,
Try the poetry 180 website. There is plenty of stuff there. Emule is
another good site.
I have some other hyper links on my website
http://www.englishink.net/literacyzone/page5.html
Good luck. We redid our list last year and updated some things.

Subject: [middle-lit] poems for March Madness Poetry
I'm looking for new poems (or old) to spice up a middle school March
Madness Poetry Tournament. Any recommendations? I'm especially interested
in ethnic or regional poetry, Native American, historical periods, female
authors, adolescent authors, coming of age poetry, Indian, African,
Hispanic, or Asian authors... (I'd like to access the poems online,
preferably so if you have an URL that would be awesome.)
Sincerely,
Susan Artkras
