I've done stations with poetry. Let's see... there were five: a listening station (to a CD produced for the National Poetry Recitation Contest), a computer websearch station, a reading of poetry books station, a choral reading/performing station, a writing station. Students voted to spend one class period at each within preassigned groups. Kids liked it, but they did say that the listening station was least helpful because they didn't have copies of the poems that were being recited and they missed too much-- something I'll change for next year!
