I noticed I hadn't received anything from middle-lit in a week. I realize that some of your are still finishing up the school year. Instead of bothering you "for nothing", I'll also throw in that I've read Rules by Cynthia Lord and Drums, Girls, and Dangerous Pie (written by one of Frank McCourt's former students in NYC), and both are excellent.
