Re: Just checking
Marj and everyone-
Warning: I didn't care for the Kite Runner or the Life of Pi, but these
really appealed to me and my teacher book group: The Curious Incident of the
Dog in the Nighttime, anything at all by David Sedaris, The Jane Austin Book
Club, and anything at all by Barbara Kingsolver and Jennifer Weiner,
particularly Good in Bed! (For those who knit and love great writing, ya
gotta read Yarn Harlot and Knitting Rules by Stephanie....name escapes me.
She is a scream, and has a witty, wonderful blog: www.yarnharlot.com

I've been too busy to even open my email, even though i've been out of
school for several weeks. i have been reading too. best book in years :the
kite runner. another good one: anyone but you. the kite runner is very
serious but excellent. anyone but you is light and funny. what's everyone
else reading for FUN?
