general--If anyone else has recommendations for the Books for Us list--recommended summer reading, please email them to me today. I'll add them to the list and get them out tomorrow to everyone. +++++ personal--today is our last day with kids and tomorrow is a work day. i am retiring this year, so this is REALLY my last day with kids. i had a great year, so i can leave with many fond memories. i plan to stay on the listserve, just to keep my hand in. and i'm still involved with education. i lead an adult writing group, i'm coordinating the adult/family literacy program (part-time), directing the local adult leadership program, and doing freelance consulting and presenting in lang. arts and leadership--so i doubt that i'll be too bored!! plus we show quarter horses (reiners) so i need lots of barn and saddle time. thanks to all of you for your wonderful ideas the past few years. thanks, too, to eric for taking care of us! marji morris
