oral history project

I wanted to share a project that was completed in a Communication Arts
class where I serve as an Instructional Specialist. Your feedback and
shared experiences are welcome or maybe the project will provide
inspiration. (There is a guestbook and the students love reading the
feedback, so please sign in.)

Check out the oral history project Telling Our Stories that Dynamic
Students participated in this year at Hixson Middle School:

The stories provide a glimpse into the life of special individuals,
veterans. Many of the stories are thought-provoking and even tear-jerking.
If you don't have time to explore, I recommend visiting:

Korean War > "To Give a Proper Salute"
WW II > "Everything Changed and It Had to"
Challenges > "A test of endurance, courage and strength"
Vietnam > "I started to question this version of things"

Sincerely,
Susan Artkras
Instructional Specialist
